For oenologists of all wineries, cellar hygiene is an important parameter, as it affects the final quality of the wine, its shelf life and the presence or absence of olfactory defects. Cleaning the premises, the wine-making equipment and the wine conditioning is not always so easy to carry out. Every crevice can accumulate dirt and be the cause of microbial contamination. Although wine is a drink that is resistant to biological alteration, due to its high alcohol content, low pH and strong acidity, some microorganisms are able to alter its organoleptic properties.
To enable the highest standards of hygiene, we offer a complete range of professional products: acid detergents, alkaline and chlorine detergents, enzymatic detergents, disinfectants, foam cleaners, water treatment products and sanitizers with biocidal effect. In addition, specific products are available for bottling line cleaning and for ultrafiltration and cross-flow filtration processes. Each of our solutions aims to maintain and enhance our position as the preferred partner for sanitisation in wineries, guaranteeing compliance with the highest quality standards in accordance with strict international ISO standards.
The range includes products for special applications, such as Barrique Régénérateur, a two-component detergent for the regeneration of barrels that have contained white or red wines for a long time, which completely eliminates tartrates and colouring substance residues, freeing the pores of the barrel from the residues that clog them. To complete the range we offer specific detergents for bottle washing such as Ris, a primary sequestering additive suitable for controlling hardness in industrial water in general and in particular for controlling limescale in bottle washing.
