In collaboration with Fondazione Brescia Solidale Onlus, the Brescia-based multinational company AEB, located in the San Polo district, donated 240 bottles of sanitizing hand gel and 60 disinfectants to the residential units of the RSA Arici Sega in the area, once again demonstrating its desire to be close to and actively committed to supporting the local community.

In difficult times like the one we have been going through for a few years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social support is everything. And it is to the local community and to the whole territory of Brescia that AEB has dedicated and is dedicating its daily commitment, through small initiatives that have the desire to help people and to contribute to the construction of a better world.

«Talking with President Mantelli about the activities of the Foundation and the primary needs in this period, we thought it was of great interest and importance to offer alcohol-based products in order to maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety for the guests and for the social-sanitary structure», states Francesco Dragotto, Food & Beer Business Development Manager of the AEB Group.

«We will therefore make available 240 bottles of hand gel to cover the residential units of the RSA Arici Sega present in the district and 60 bottles of disinfectant solution for the daily hygiene of the surfaces of the same units, thus contributing to fight the spread of the virus with products that are certainly difficult to find in this period. Ours is a gesture that introduces a wider desire of cooperation of AEB, with the Foundation and the Neighborhood Council, for the Brescia territory, for projects of social sustainability, urban and environmental regeneration on which we are working, and which we will be pleased to present in the near future», concludes Dragotto.

«We are proud of the warm welcome we received for this initiative», adds Paolo Machiavelli, Quality & ESG Director of the Brescia Group. «An initiative that stems from the desire of AEB, a company made up of people, to commit itself in an increasingly concrete and tangible way with gestures that find in the potential offered by the business in which the group operates, the possibility of representing a help for the Community in which we all live».

«What pushes us and motivates us to do more and more - explains Machiavelli - is the possibility, strengthened in this period of detachment and pandemic health emergency, to collaborate actively with local realities, putting in place social and environmental initiatives from which people who live and visit our territory every day can benefit in a stable, objective and lasting way. Thanks to small and big gestures we trust we can look at the future with more serenity and optimism».

«Today's event - continues Machiavelli - wants to express this: a gesture between people of the same community to support a need, which, however, should not be seen as an isolated episode, but as part of a path and a constant contribution: just to remember some, the donation of sanitizers to the inhabitants of the neighborhood in March 2020, the gifts to the children of the pediatric ward of Poliambulanza last December. One of the pillars of our mission is sustainability at 360 degrees, environmental, social and ethical; every day we strive to think and act in a sustainable way and to be an active player in favor of an ever stronger bond with the community and the territory that hosts us», concludes Machiavelli.
