UKRAINE EMERGENCY: AEB DONATIONS TO ITALIAN WHITE CROSS AND RED CROSS

03/22/2022

Many associations are offering their support to help the people affected by the war in Ukraine. These include the Italian White Cross and Red Cross, which have always been at the side of the weakest groups.

As the AEB Group, we have decided to help with a donation plan, which includes both financial contributions and free distribution of our detergents for sanitation and hygiene.

We have made a donation to the Italian Red Cross, which has opened an urgent fundraising drive to meet the enormous needs in which the association's volunteers are engaged.

We have also put together a number of care and emergency kits that include some of our detergents and sanitisers for personal and environmental hygiene.

The distribution of the kits has already begun a few days ago and an initial contribution has gone to Croce Bianca. «On behalf of the whole of Croce Bianca, I would like to sincerely thank the AEB company for its help», said Camillo Peruzzi, the Secretary and Councillor of Croce Bianca, during the meeting with our representatives in Brescia.

The free distribution of the sanitation kits involve also our customers, with whom we are collaborating and who are taking action in the first person by going to the places of the affected populations to offer their support.

Paolo Machiavelli, Quality & ESG Director of AEB, confirmed our Group's desire to contribute as much as possible to the ongoing emergency: «We thank the White Cross for their hospitality and their incessant care for those in need. It is a pleasure and a source of pride for us, - says Machiavelli, - to be able to contribute to the reception and assistance services set up to help the people affected by the war. We will continue to offer our collaboration and our availability to the White Cross and the other organisations that are attentive and responsive to the weakest people.»
