FILTRATION AIDS FOR WINE STABILITY
Filtration influences multiple parameters in wine positively conditioning the final quality and giving the wine an elegant and clean sensory profile. AEB's offer includes various types of filtration aids adapted to different process requirements.
The quality of filtration can also be improved thanks to inert filtration aids made of blends of perlites and cellulose, or of silites. They can have different degrees of permeability and are used for brightening and coarse filtration. In this product range, we propose perlite and cellulose based flood and vacuum filtration aids that are used for the preparation of the filtration panel.
A variety of filter aids are available including Silite Mini Speed. This is a very fine pearlitic filter media with a low flow rate that is used for narrow filtrations, particularly of the brightening type. While for rinse-off filtrations we recommend Fibroxcel 10 for the formation of precoats.
