72nd CONGRESS OF ASSOENOLOGI: A GREAT SUCCESS FOR AEB

The 72nd National Congress of Assoenologi, a very important event in the national oenological landscape, was held at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence from 17 to 20 November.
The main theme of the 72nd edition of the Congress of Assoenologi was "The Science of Wine Sustainability" and included the work of illustrious speakers: Ruggero Mazzilli (founder of Sopevis), the French Nicolas Joly, considered the guru of biodynamic, Oscar Farinetti, patron of Eataly, who intervened on the issue of sustainability, Renzo Cotarella, CEO of Marchesi Antinori, who spoke about corporate sustainability. Finally Attilio Scienza, ordinary professor of viticulture at the University of Milan.
There have been also moments dedicated to tasting and presentation of wines, as well as moments of entertainment, with characters from the world of television and entertainment.
Like every year, we were among the sponsors of the Congress. The focus of the intervention of AEB representatives was a BRIEF VIDEO of great effect on what is the corporate philosophy of the group, the elements distinguishing us and the latest news.
The message of the video is strong and clear: we are a company thinking and acting according to a precise strategy. And we can do it thanks to a range of 500 products and equipment. But, above all, thanks to a team of experts able to assist and respond to the needs of customers during all the stages of the production process.
Let’s speak about the data: in 2017 we invested one million euros for activities of Research and Development and Quality Control. To this amount, we add 250.000 euros for collaborations with universities and research organizations, important activities in which we believe strongly. For the last three years, we have been able to offer a higher number of new products: only in 2017, we launched 24 novelties for oenology.
We have recently acquired the majority share in Innotec Tecnologie Innovative, an Italian company offering state-of-the-art plant solutions in the field of oenology and beverages. Innotec will develop new technologies for the oenological sector with our Group, in order to optimize the management of the operations in the cellar.
Besides this, there is our high attention towards environmental sustainability, process quality, health and safety at work. For these reasons, we believe it is essential to continue obtaining certifications and keep up to date with times.
