CONVENTION 2017, AN EDITION TO REMEMBER

2017/05/31

We have just concluded the cycle of the Annual Conventions of our Group. Meetings leaving the mark in AEB's history: over 150 representatives from all over the world, besides important exponents working in the international scientific research landscape. Technical presentations presented in 3 countries, in 4 different languages.
Let’s discover together the appointments marking the last two months: on 26-27 April the meeting in La-Chapelle-De-Guinchay in Burgundy, with all executives and managers of our French associated company.

The Italian calendar has also been full of meetings. It took place at the headquarters of Brescia on 4 and 5 May, with the Convention Oenology for AEB Africa, AEB USA, AEB Oceania, AEB Hungaria and AEB Deutschland. To follow, the Group Convention (8 and 9 May) gathering together managers and Country Managers in two important days: their interventions brought to light improvement proposals and key examples of our latest achievements.

Two conventions took place at the same time on 10 and 11 May: food and beer for associated companies on the one hand, oenology for the Italian sales force on the other. Even in this case, there have been plenty of news.
In particular, the interventions of the representatives of major universities and research centers from all over the world found an ample place: starting with Luca Rolle, Professor at the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences at the University of Turin; Hervé Alexandre of the University of Bourgogne and Marie-Charlotte Colosio of the Institut Français de la Vigne et du Vin. Without forgetting Tommaso Bonciani, in force at the UMCC Group (Unimore Microbial Culture Collection) in Reggio Emilia and the young Federico Tondini, a Ph.D. student at the University of Adelaide (Australia).

A few days ago, the associated companies of Portugal, Spain, Chile, Brazil, and Argentina met together in the beautiful Alcalá de Henares, just a few kilometres from Madrid.

From our constant commitment, it is noted how AEB and universities are getting closer and closer, driven by the strong desire to make important steps forward in research, to meet the ever new and growing needs of the wine, beer and agro-food market. In this regard, we consider it essential to continue studying and proposing cutting-edge products, the latest ones presented right at the last convention.

In conclusion, there are the premises for another exceptional year!
Now, some photos to remember this wonderful edition of the AEB Convention.
