PROTAN Raisin
Adds a round and mellow structure bringing balance to all wines
Protan Raisin has the characteristics of mellow skin tannins, naturally derived from healthy and ripe grapes. When added to finished wines, it immediately brings balance, structure, and a longer finish. It works in a synergetic way with oak, and it helps balancing all kinds of oak additions. It is recommended also during or at the end of fermentation, to integrate short macerations on the skins. This allows a faster turnover of the tanks, and eliminates the risk of over extracting from seeds and vegetal fragments. It also acts as the final receptor for color pigments and polymerizing tannins, ensuring the correct development of wine during the ageing process.
