Our know-how and long experience in filtration has enabled us to develop tools to help the winemaker conduct treatments with maximum efficiency. We provide the winery with an instrument for analysing the filterability of musts and wines, capable of assessing the filterability of both extremely strained liquids and micro-filtered liquids with low levels of straining. To optimise filtration, we have developed an innovative automatic tester that checks the integrity of membrane filters.
INSTRUMENTS FOR ANALYSING THE FILTERABILITY OF MUSTS AND FOR FILTER INTEGRITY
Ensuring that filtration is carried out correctly has always been one of our main aims. In wine, there are a multitude of filtering substances consisting mainly of polymeric aggregates of a polysaccharide and protein nature.
With our DANMIL FILTRABILITY INDEX it is possible to assess the filterability index with an innovative pre-filtration test, developed by the DANMIL Research & Development department, which allows you to evaluate the filterability of a wine or a "raw" must before subjecting it to filtration with a cross-flow filter, flour filter or other filtering elements. In addition, with the innovative automatic DANMIL INTEGRITY TEST the wine technician can check the integrity of the membrane filters used, and is thus able to know the status of the cartridge and validate its integrity thanks to the certification of the test provided by the instrument with the issue of a receipt.
