Tannin for stabilizing the colour of red and rosé wines in the fermentation stage

Fermotan is a balanced formulation of purified Proanthocyanidinic, Ellagic and Gallic Tannins. It is added at crushing in order to utilise the highly reactive antioxidant effects of both the Ellagic and Gallic Tannins, which scavenge oxygen and prevent premature browning. It also improves the Anthocyanin to Tannin ratio in the newly released juice, which ensures that maximum Anthocyanin fixing potential is reached as early as possible.
