2016/09/01

TERREMOTO AMATRICE AEB

Unfortunately, as everybody already know, the consequences of the tragedy occurred on the 24th of August in the provinces of Rieti, Ascoli Piceno and Perugia are nothing short of catastrophic. The most affected areas are the communities of Accumoli, Amatrice and Arquata del Tronto. The latest updates talk about 293 victims. Destroyed homes are countless, as well as transport routes, buildings and cultural heritage gravely damaged.

The Italian population, and it’s not the only one, is very close to the residents and it’s giving an amazing contribution to people hit by the earthquake by sending them economic aids, necessity goods, volunteers and many solidarity initiatives.

Also AEB desires to give an helping hand. Hence the decision to open a free collection among the employees, the agents and the collaborators, to which the society adds an amount of 10,000 Euro. The fund will be ideally used to contribute to the rebirth of an industrial or manufacturing entity struck by the seism (earthquake).

“It does not matter how much each of you will devote to this fund,” – said Mario Tomasoni, CEO of the group, - “everyone can contribute according his/her own capability and will. It seems to me that’s a good signal we can give as a community, who can remember what they personally have can do when such disasters occur”.

Also Aaron Davenport, AEB Chairman, will make a donation to support this project, hoping that it could help to restore these unlucky areas.
